I am so happy we found Hoop Code. The coaches are amazing and they push the kids to work hard. The workouts are intense and the coaches pump up the kids by being super motivating. I love how at the end of a practice/clinic, the coaches all huddle and talk with the kids. They always sound like motivational speakers to me. They make kids believe in themselves and their abilities and I am grateful for that. My son has grown so much in his confidence and skills since joining Hoop Code. And I personally love the music they play during the clinics. I am amazed at the talent in the coaches and how much they care for the kids. My son has been a part of this organization for approximately 2 years and I can truly say that his basketball skill level has increased exponentially! When he started with this great organization he started with the Biddy Ball clinics and the growth was amazing. Others could see the growth in how he played. My son now plays on one of the Hoop Code teams due to the hard work and dedication he has put in. My son loves going to practice and to the clinics they offer. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to teaching these young players the right way to play the game and really care about the kids as individuals. The Coaches really care about the kids learning the true meaning of TEAM. They are also very organized and communicate with the parents what is expected of not only us as parents but the kids as well. I normally don't write reviews but I really wanted to let people know how truly wonderful this organization is. We plan on being a part of the Hoop Code family for a long time!!!!

Let me start off by saying that Hoop Code has been A blessing to our boys. My son started two years ago when HoopCode first started with boys and girls club. We had just moved to the valley and I wasn't sure what basketball opportunities existed also at the time I was a single mom and really didn't know much about sports well I ended up in the hands of some of the most respected coaches I've ever met. We started off with hoop code the clinics and coaches have provided my son with clinics, sports performance training which teach him body positioning and strength training, they encourage academics. My step-son started a year ago and has learned so much when it comes to basketball but that's not all that the kids learn. The boys learn perseverance, team work, they develop friendships and so much more. Hoop Code does have the kids best interest in mind and I as a parent have given my trust to these coaches it wasn't easy because we as parents feel we know what is best but I can say that all of the coaches absolutely know what is best when it comes to the kids and basketball this is evident in the fact that both of my boys continue to progress in clinics, as well as consistency in performance . Even if some of the drills are repetitive, repetition leads to success. They are also fantastic in making sure that all the kids are able to participate in their programs no matter what. If it is finances they will work with you. They state on their forms no child left behind and they stand by that. Hoop Code is more than just basketball, we are a family, the boys are able to enjoy group activities outside of basketball as well I think it's pretty incredible. We look forward to many seasons to come.

My son started with Hoop Code about a year ago. He had been playing a little basketball, but needed work on the fundamentals. Hoop Code really helped him with the developmental skills he needs to become a good basketball player. But what the coaches and the philosophy of Hoop Code has done for my son is even better. They emphasize integrity, team work, hard work, physical fitness and much more. My son's self esteem has grown exponentially due to the mentoring from the coaches at Hoop Code. Growing up as a competitive athlete and a scholarship athlete at a Division1 ACC school, I have seen what coaches can do to kids along the way. Hoop Code coaches instill inner confidence but not outward arrogance that prepares them for not only their future in sports but in life in general.

My 11 yr old son has played basketball with a few organizations in the valley and we have had a great experience w Hoop Code for the past 2 yrs. Hoop Code has a positive culture where the kids learn HOW to play basketball. They also teach the fundamentals in a fun, upbeat, yet competitive environment. It is great to watch all of the kids progressing each season and seeing the results of the clinics, camps, and team practices. I have only heard positive comments from the families involved with Hoop Code because they create opportunity for all kids no matter what their level. The coaches also encourage all of the kids, regardless of their skill level. There is a place for any kid at Hoop Code and they will learn how to play better, hands down, and the kids have a blast. Our kids do very well playing against other teams because the training is good, it is a natural consequence. They do not teach our kids or encourage parents to be anything other than good sports. I also love how the coaches teach values to our kids, perseverance, attitude, being on time, hustle, grit, and good sportsmanship. In terms of comparing to other organizations, I have had experience with club level sports and Hoop Code is top notch. Club level youth sports can be cutthroat and shady and Hoop Code is not like that at all! It is nice to see people who actually do what they are trying to teach our kids and that is treating others with respect. I would recommend Hoop Code to anyone I know.

The professional coaches live and breath youth basketball. They are passionate about bringing out the best in our kids. We have seen his basketball skills improve in practice and in games. Hi moms and dads reading these negative reviews, I think they are from disgruntled parents. We love love love HoopCode. My son could not make a basket his first game at HoopCode. He's now an exceptional player on one of the "club teams" and he accomplished that in just 3 seasons. My son has made lifelong friends and so have I with other parents. Now let's talk about the coaches, these coaches would do anything to help develop a player. My son is never hesitant to ask any questions that he does not understand on calls or plays. I want to be as specific as possible about the clinics (open to anyone that has a membership vs practices). Clinics include different stations and the kids are broken up between all those stations and yes some of it is repetitive but without repetition your son or daughter will never grow and develop. Someone on here mentioned long lines and I can honestly say I have never seen a line of more than 3-4 kids. Hoop Code does occasionally have a free open to the public mini skills camp and there is always a large turnout for those. I strongly encourage you to take some of these other comments with a grain of salt. Because Joining Hoop Code is more like joining a family. I also want to mention that Hoop Code is fun. The kids love it! My son would stay 2 hours if they would let him.

The kids have fun and the coaches hold them accountable. The team practices where the kids learn how to play the game the right way. The clinics work on their individual skills ball handling lay up drill and passing.

My son has been part of Hoop Code Family for about 3 years now. After trying many other leading programs, expensive private trainers, etc we have gotten the most value out of his time with this group. It is definitely not for those looking to play recreationally, instead this is a program for kids who really want to excel at Basketball. The trainers and all increadiblevkith the kids and even though the workouts are petty serious my son simply loves it. We attend clinics every Wednesday, are part of the league play, and take part in the week long summer camps every year. Many of the kids who attend also go to school with my son and he has made a great deal of progress with basketball, self confidence, and feels like he is part of a family of like minded people.

Our son has been part of the Hoop Code family for two years. Not only has his skill level increased but his self-confidence as well. He is part of their club team program. The team was 8U/2nd grade last season and played up in the Junior Suns league 3/4th grade against older, stronger and bigger kids. They also played out of State in Las-Vegas (against 3rd-grade teams) This adversity really brought the kids together as a unit. This year we are only playing in local and out of state tournaments and Hoop Code's own Arizona Premier League on Friday nights. The coaching has been top-notch. My son has also befriended several of his teammates and communicates with them outside of Hoopcode - they are true friends. I have been around club basketball for over 8 years and played at a high level myself. Hoop Code is the place for us as long as our son continues to grow as a player and most importantly - HAVE FUN!!!

My son has been playing for Hoop Code for about six seasons and we couldn't be happier for the decision we made. We tried different leagues in the past but Hoop Code was the only one that offered a complete program for our kid. Their coaches, equipments and training have been helping my kid to become a better basketball player. They not only prepare the kids physically but mentally as well. The minute you step in the gym you notice the energy and organization. Sean and Brandon have assembled a solid coaching staff that are firm but fair.
